Accessibility Services at the Angus L. Macdonald Library

Information for members of the StFX community with diagnosed, permanent disabilities.
Angus L. Macdonald Library

General Information

The Angus L. Macdonald Library is located in the heart of StFX, accessible from both upper and lower campuses. Our main entrance is equipped with a push button automatic door and can accommodate most wheelchairs or other supportive devices.  There is an accessible, gender-neutral washroom located on the first floor next to the Student Success Centre and we have a modern elevator that travels from our basement to the 4th floor which allows access to the majority of our building. Click on the Maps tab above for a map of campus and each floor of the library.

The library is pleased to be the home of the Tramble Centre for Accessible Learning, with whom we work collaboratively to provide service to those with diagnosed, permanent disabilities requiring special resources.  Please browse the main menu for more information about these services and resources.

If you have any issues, questions or suggestions on how we can serve you better, please send a note to library@stfx.ca.
