The Library has prepared this guide to provide information on the resources and services we provide to support our faculty and students. As the University moves to alternate methods of delivering classes, we are looking at ways of supporting remote access and distance research. Updates on library services and resources will be posted to this guide.
We are excited to welcome the community back to the library now that Nova Scotia has moved into Phase 2 of the provincial reopening plan. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Space bookings are still required to work or study in the building, however patrons may come to the main service desk to pick up requested items.
To book a space please go to https://stfx.libcal.com/r. Seating on floors 1, 2 and 3 are unassigned, but still require a booking using one of the general seating slots. Seats on 4th floor remain bookable on an individual basis. Social distancing is still required and masks must be worn inside at all times.
In-person services are limited as staff transition back to campus, but we still remain available for online support. Please contact email@example.com or 902-867-2228 for full details or to set up an appointment with a librarian, please go to https://stfx.libcal.com/appointments. Inter-Library Lending (ILL) and Document Delivery services are operational, but expect delays as services at other libraries are variable.
