The materials in the Angus L. Macdonald Library are organized by the Library of Congress (LC) Classification System so that material on similar subjects is shelved together. Each item is given a subject heading that corresponds to a call number which identifies the location of the item on a shelf. Call numbers consists of letters and numbers, and are arranged on the shelves in alpha-numeric order.
If you come across a book you need for your research, and the StFX Library does not own it, you may request this item through our Document Delivery service.
